It was 1961 and with a big smile on my face and a pretty blonde on my arm I drove through Santa Ana Canyon in my 60 Chevy convertible. With the top down and Brooke Benton singing about the Boll Weevil, I was in heaven.
A real classic. Thanks, its hard to find live performances of Brook Benton, the man with the big baritone voice. Oh, and if only I could find a video with him and Dinah Washington, that would be like gold.
